Dr. Kyle Koubek - Optometrist
Dr. Kyle Koubek joined Madison Eye Care in July of 2019 as our associate doctor.
Dr. Kyle Koubek earned his Bachelors of Arts and Science at Bowling Green State University where he studied biology. He then went on to the Illinois College of Optometry where he graduated in 2018. While attending ICO he had the opportunity to rotate through the Wade Park VA Hospital in Cleveland. Although he enjoys providing full scope eye care, it was at the VA where he developed a passion for treating and managing ocular disease
Dr. Kyle is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) as well as the Ohio Optometric Association (OOA). He currently lives in Lakewood.
Dr. Alyssa Vu – Optometrist
Dr. Alyssa Vu is an Ohio native who earned her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati then continued on to Chicago, where she attended the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) and received her doctorate with clinical honors in 2021.
She has completed additional clinical training at The Cornea and Contact Lens Institute of Minnesota, Bay Pines VA Hospital in Florida, and North Coast Eye Care in Amherst, Ohio. She served as ICO’s Private Practice Club (PPC) President and a board member of the Cornea and Contact Lens Society (CLCS). Additionally, Dr. Vu was one of 10 students selected from her graduating class to be inducted into the Gold Key National Optometric Honor Society which recognizes leadership and service to the community. She is a current member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Ohio Optometric Association (OOA), and serves as Secretary for the Cleveland Optometric Association board.
Dr. Vu joined Madison Eye Care in 2021 and enjoys getting to know her patients of all ages. Her goal is to provide you with a pleasant and personalized experience while also delivering excellent quality of care.
She is the youngest of six children and loves cheering on the OSU Buckeyes in football.
